What does a lender need when a manufactured home was moved?

Usually a structural integrity inspection after the move, made by a licensed Professional Engineer at the home's current site. The report documents whether the home was damaged or weakened in transit and how it is installed now.

Issued in: Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana. Loan officer or processor? See for lenders.

Common questions

Does the report guarantee financing?

No. It documents the structure after the move. The lender reviews the full file and decides whether the home and the loan qualify.

Is it the same as a foundation certification?

Not necessarily. This report evaluates the home after relocation; a foundation certification addresses a specific foundation standard. Send the written condition and we confirm the scope.

What should I send?

The lender's exact wording, the property address, where the home was moved from and when, and your closing date.
